Gold would have complained its butts out, yelled, complained, but it saw its disgusting self, state, and its irrelevance to the world if it dodged the requisite process (the furnace). So, it was left with no other option than to submit to the fire. To you going through the unbearable heat of life, you have thrown many sighs, many unanswered questions, and might have even grown envious just because social media has its way of magnifying the wins of other people, so you are devastated and you are about dialing the “give up” button.

Hey, hold up, hold out, don’t lose it yet because you are almost there. You came this far for a reason. The fire is unbearable just to make you unbeatable and invincible.

The fire didn’t come to break you but to make you.

The fire didn’t come to silence but to amplify your voice.

The fire didn’t come to swallow you up but solidify your track records. People would believe you more if you can relate to their current experiences with your past.

When you have proven that you are then crowned as their “King”. The scars are there to make you a star, so don’t lose sight of the bigger picture cos the dreams you nurture are not of today but of the future.

So, teach your legs to walk out of conversations that threaten your convictions because your presence in this generation is a present (a gift). Stay in the process, don’t throw it away. Always remember, your dreams are valid.
