What is the Race of Life and how critical is this statement

Race of Life
Ecclesiastes 9:11: “I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.”
.
Every individual has a race track set before him/her in this life. Where yours might end is actually where someone’s own begins. Many times many people run as though they were in competition with others. Doing so presupposes that you don’t really have a clue about what you are in for as an athlete in the race of life. Life is not a competition or a world cup. Our main text for today, tells us that, “the race is not for the swift, nor the battle for the strong…rather time and chance happeneth to them all”.
.
The race of life will give you the time to shine, don’t rush and miss the mark. Chance is given to all equally and fairly, if someone’s own came in the morning, yours might be in the evening, it is just a matter of time! Remember, like Apostle Paul told his protégé Timothy, “..so run, that you may obtain the prize”.
.
Do not fret because yours seems to have delayed, you might be on a different time scale as compared to the other. Do not feel pressured because of your competitors, just remain focused on the ‘prize’ and run the race of life set before you till your time and chance comes. God has not given up on you, so don’t give up on yourself. YHWH will make you obtain the prize before your time is up. Not many days from now we shall join hands to celebrate you because you are the NEXT IN LINE as you live one day at a time. GOD richly bless you.
